The R3’s state of the art technology is integrated into a single element head to ensure a tidy installation. Removing the need for additional unsightly connections and receiver boxes. With 7-day timer alongside the adjustable temperature control for the room or radiator, programme the radiator to be on exactly when it’s needed. Rather than wasting money constantly having the Radiator on. The R3 comes with open window detection, turning the Radiator off automatically when your trying to cool down the room.
The element’s settings can be changed with the user-friendly remote control. The remote is where, the timer’s schedule is programmed and stored. As the information is stored in the remote, rather than the radiator, it’s quick and easy to reprogramme the element is a power cut wipes the memory. Also, multiple elements can be programmed from one remote. The R3 also has manual controls on the front face. Allowing temperature adjustment and a 2 – 4 hour boost facility if the remote is ever lost.
Furthermore the R3 towel radiator has two thermostat options. Towel Rails, especially in Chrome, can be extremely hot to touch. Controlling the Radiator’s surface temperature lets you select hot the radiator’s surface is. Preventing children or the elderly from burning themselves. This is also ideal if you’re drying towels as the thermostat recording is isolated from external heat sources, which would interfere with your towel drying. If the radiator is used as the room’s heat source the air temperature thermostat will regulate the radiator based on room temperature.
The element and remote control have an anti tamper lock. Create your own pin code to unlock the radiator and prevent the element’s setting from being messed around with. Ideal for use in Hotels, Toilet areas and spaces with young children.

The table below details the power output of the element supplied with each rail size and their equivalent BTU’s (British Thermal Units). By default we will fit the relevant Amber element. Green or Red powered elements are available for a hotter or cooler rail on request. Our standard electric heated towel rails are designed to provide between 50°C – 59°C:
Different Power Options Available
All our towel rails are available in Central heated, Electric and Dual Fuel power options.
Central heating rails arrive as a standalone rail, the valves must be bought separately. We have a selection of angled or straight on/off valves and thermostatic valves available in our accessories section. We also stock a variety of dual fuel kit bundles with your choice of element size and valves.
If you opt for one of our electric models the towel rail will be professionally filled on site and will be completed by one of our high-quality PTC (positive thermal coefficient) elements or one of our state of the art R3 thermostatically controlled elements.
Dual Fuel Radiators are like the central heated option, in that the Radiator arrives empty and must connect to the central heating pipes. However, it comes with a duel fuel kit, which consists of valves and a heating element. Duel fuel Radiators can be heated using the Central heating or electric. This means that when the central heating is off, you can still use the Radiator to dry towels by switching the electric element on. Therefore, you have the benefit of the towel rail all year round!

The R3 recognises an open window / door and shuts off. Meaning, that your electricity bill isn’t spent on heating the great outdoors. This function can be switched off.
