The Icon has the option to set 24-hour 7-day program. The weekly programming and the three different Operating Modes enable you to schedule your heating around your personal lifestyle. Making it easy to select the periods when the heater will be on and when the heater will be off. Preventing you from leaving the heating on all day. The Icon also comes equipped with open window detection and presence detection, this means if you leave the heater on when you open a window or leave the room it will notice the change in environment and stop heating.
Maximum Comfort, Intelligent Management
The Icon creates a level of comfort unrivaled by other electric heaters with its use of radiant and convection heating technology. Radiant heat creates a more pleasant living environment and convection heating provides better heat disruption around your room. The radiant element heats the front surface – transmitting evenly-distributed infrared heat across the front panel, helping your room to remain warm and comfortable even when the heater is not drawing power. As radiant heating is reliant on surface area, it becomes difficult to provide a suitable amount of heat without making the heaters very large. Making it difficult to install a heater powerful enough for the room in the available space. To bridge this gap, the Icon utilises Radialight’s Dual-Therm technology. Fitted with a second element to utilise convection heating to assist the radiant affect, allowing your room to heat up quicker and more comfortably. The combination of heating technologies provides a warm, long-lasting and embracing environment. With the combination of convection and infrared heating technologies, the heater delivers a rapid warm up time whilst being energy-efficient.
The Dynamic Intelligent Management system optimises the heater’s consumption. As the room approaches the set temperature, the power management system is activated, reducing the heater’s consumption. Helping maintain a constantly comfortable room temperature, plus eliminating energy waste by preventing the room from overheating.
With Radialight’s control system you’ll never leave the heating on again. This built in presence detection system recognises when the room is unoccupied and starts to lower the temperature. The reduction in temperature is scaled according to how long the room has been empty. This is useful if you accidentally leave the heating on when you go to work, shopping or a holiday. By limiting energy waste, the Icon will help lower your electricity bills.
Also the “Behavioral Indicator” and “Power check Function” which lets you take control of the heater’s consumption with a push of a button.

Presence Detection
The heater will detect when the room has been left empty. Then it will begin to lower the set temperature – so you never worry about leaving the heating on unnecessarily.
Open Window Recognition
When this function is enabled, the Icon will detect when a window or door is open and stops heating – reducing energy waste which would otherwise heat the great outdoors!
Energy Monitoring
With the power check function, you can monitor the heater’s energy consumption. With a press of a button you can see how much energy has been used over the last day or week.
Behavioral indicator
The behavioral indicator acts as a reminder of how efficiently the heater has been used. The heater will provide a rating, which is based on the set temperature.
Keypad lock function
You can lock the heaters controls to prevent unwanted users from adjusting the settings. This is ideal if the heater is in a public environment or near children.
