Infrared Electric Bathroom Heater

Infrared electric heating is a new, energy efficient and cost-effective way to heat your home.

Infrared heaters have a very thin panel, which means they’re unobtrusive in the room. Ideal for a minimalist installation.

Tailored for bathrooms with a dual heating system. The front panel is divided into 2 heating zones. The top of the heater is more powerful and will get hotter. Which provides more heat into the room. The bottom is adapted for towel drying and is cooler.

The main impact of this is the top of the heater is warmer and provides more heat into the room. The bottom is cooler and safer if you touch the panel when adding or removing towels.

Infrared, a better heating experience

Conventional electric heaters will only heat the air, which can create an uncomfortable dry or stuffy feeling. Infrared heating technology does not directly warm the air in the room.

Instead, infrared electric heaters emit heat via infrared waves. The waves move though the air and are absorbed by objects.

When the waves contact your skin, you can feel the heat. This creates a more comfortable living environment and a feeling very similar to the warmth of the sun.

The infrared waves are also by physical objects. Infrared will warm warm the objects which in turn store heat. This means the room can stay warm for 3x as long compared to heaters which warm the air.

In addition infrared electric heaters provide constant drying of the walls. Leaving very little chance for mould to grow. Also, there’s a reduction of dust circulating in the room, improving the air quality in the room.

ESHC, Efficient Heating Technology.

ESHC technology is what sets Welltherm’s infrared heater’s apart from the rest. Most infrared panels have a maximum surface temperature around 90°C, whereas Welltherm’s is 107 °C. Resulting in a stronger and more effective infrared effect.

Welltherm’s research and development has made their heaters some of the most energy efficient on the market. The ESHC technology ensures a strong and effective infrared effect. More than 70 % of the heating surface is covered by heating conductors. This results in excellent heat distribution and efficiency. (For most other infrared products this value is between 6 % and 23 %) .

To maximise efficiency a thermally insulating mat is used to the rear of the panel. This reduces heat lost to the back of the panel. So it can be radiated from the front panel. This leads to optimum heat transfer to the front of the infrared heater, with maximum safety.

Wireless, Control.

The heater is supplied with a wireless room thermostat.

The thermostat lets you set start/stop timer functions, up to 3 times every day and each day different if required. Once you have set the timing schedule you can then set the required room temperatures, ensuring you are using the radiator to your own requirements and as efficiently as possible.

The wireless room control can wall mounted or sat on a mobile stand and can be locked to stop unwanted program changes.
